You are looking at a portion of my life history here. Each one of the patterns in this painted quilt are from fabrics I used to make clothes back in the 70s.
The blue & maroon batik was a swirling gored skirt. The salmon, peach and cream modern was a wrap around cap sleeve blouse. The orange tropical flowers were in fact my mother's kitchen curtains. Good morning! Somehow when all of them come together, it's a happy summer quilt.

That looks like it was a lot of fun to paint. Too bad I wasn't around at the time to check out the funky 70's clothes you made.
