Tropical Trees & Blue Flowers

More zories. I like playing with patterns.

We grew up wearing zories when they were 75 cents at the drug store and we've always called them zories. By the way some people call them flip flops or thongs. The designer's name was Zorie.
I just saw some in a fashion magazine for $80. They had rhinestones. I still like the drug store kind that now cost about $3.99, glue $2.50, rhinestones $4.79, happy feet- priceless.

Roses & Tea

This is the final painting. The teapot is from a friend. The silk rose was given to me by a former student, who despite her disabilities brought joy to anyone who knew her before she left this world at a young age. The creamer came from my Gram's china. She blessed us with her 92 years of sparkle. All three women are worthy of being honored in the color and light of roses.

Roses & Tea

Roses on the teapot and creamer and then, of course, there is a rose.
